We are Manchester Victoria FC, a grassroots community football club based in South Manchester, built from the ground up with one simple mission: to give young people and adults a place where they can belong, grow, compete, and thrive.
Our journey began in 2024 after speaking with the Manchester FA about our vision and discussing our plans to establish a football club that would serve the local community. From those conversations, Manchester Victoria FC was born — not simply to play football, but to create opportunities, inspire ambition, and build a club that people of all backgrounds could proudly call their own.
Our club is about far more than winning matches. We create opportunities for young people and adults to build confidence, improve their physical and mental wellbeing, develop lifelong friendships, and wear the Manchester Victoria FC badge with pride.
Across Manchester, there are countless talented young people who never get the opportunity to discover what they are truly capable of. As youth clubs, after school programmes and other safe community spaces have disappeared over the years, too many people have been left without positive outlets.
We want to change that.
We want Manchester Victoria FC to be a place where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their background or financial situation — a place where football brings people together, inspires ambition, and creates lasting memories.
Why we need your help
Running a grassroots football club comes with significant costs, and we work incredibly hard to keep our fees as low as possible so that money is never the reason someone cannot play.
Every pound you donate goes directly back into the club, helping us cover essential costs, including:
- New playing kits and training wear
- Footballs, cones and training equipment
- Pitch hire and training facilities
- League registration and affiliation fees
- Referee and matchday costs
- Helping players who struggle to afford registration fees or weekly football costs
